Free Victorian Clip Art

I’m crazy for antique clip art.

Till now, most of the Victorian clip art I’ve found has been in black and white and I’ve had to color it myself using watercolors. That’s been fine, but occasionally I get tired of muted colors. Sometimes I want something a little more intense.

That’s why I was so thrilled to come across a (mostly) free clip art site called Antique Clipart.com.

Antique Clipart.com has 1044 clip art graphics, mostly Victorian. There is the usual fruit, flowers and pets in addition to some truly winsome works. I love the unusual section on scenery.

Why did I say earlier that the site is mostly free? Because though there is no charge to download the smaller clips, the larger sizes do cost several dollars each. However, for most projects, the smaller sizes are quite adequate.

If you enjoy Victorian clip art, go take a look at Antique Clipart.com. You’ll be very satisfied with what you find.
