Garlic Broccoli Salad

A friend of mine saw this recipe in a magazine in the doctor’s office and decided to copy it for me. She didn’t record the exact recipe, just the basics.
I filled in the blanks myself to create this easy and absolutely yummy salad.
16 oz. frozen broccoli, defrosted
5 minced garlic
3 tbsp light olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 – 1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
Squeeze the broccoli to remove excess moisture.
Saute the garlic in the olive oil till light tan.
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Can be refrigerated several days before serving if desired.
Note: Feel free to adjust this recipe to your own taste. Adding more or less of the minced garlic, seasonings or vinegar is completely fine.
