How To Bind A Book
115 Tutorials & Projects!
I’ve always been interested in learning how to bind a book. I saw my first handmade book in a craft store in Baltimore. It had a simple five-stitch bind, a photocopied cover, and inside was an ancient Indian folk legend. I loved it! Now, I look for beautiful handcrafted books wherever I go.
Since that day, I’ve tried quite a few of the easier bookbinding methods myself - pretty much everything but traditional binding.
I’ve made stitched books, accordion books, one page folded books (which I will eventually post a tutorial for), stapled books, and mini books. I’ve even done quite a bit of book repair, including gluing pages to spines and repairing/replacing covers.
