When I first made this page of my teenage son, I loved it. Over the years, though, it started to annoy me. On the day my annoyance turned into actual dislike, and I decided the page had to be changed!
I hated the pink area in the lower left corner, but I didn’t want to redo the whole page.
I decided to change out the pink paper for the green used in the flower stalks.
However, when I went to find the green paper, I saw I no longer had any on hand. Instead, I used two shades of green paper, cut into strips and glued to each other to mimic the original paper. I glued that paper over the pink paper.
I then used a flower punch to create some yellow flowers and glued them onto the green.
These changes turned an ugly corner into something bright and interesting.
